Into the Woods: Through Sept. 17. This play tells the story of a Baker and his Wife who journey into the woods on a quest to lift a witch’s curse. On the way, they cross paths with Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and a menagerie of other fairy tale characters. $20 adults, $12 students, $10 kids younger than 10. Los Adaes – 18th-Century Spanish Capital of Texas: This online exhibit is a fun way to spend the afternoon learning about Texas history. The site also features archeology, history, art and science activities for kids in grades K-12. www.texasbeyondhistory.net/adaes/

Tango-Alpha-Charlie Texas Aviation Celebratioin: Opens Sept. 12 and runs through Jan. 9, 2011. The year 2010 marks the centennial of flight in Texas. This special exhibition will tell the stories of people who exemplify the spirit that continues to drive the aviation industry in Texas.
