News Notes-General
By:

Cash-strapped parents who cannot afford psychiatric care for their children can turn to a new program for assistance.

The YES Waiver program offers respite care, community living and family support, transitional services adaptive aids, minor home modifications, non-medical transportation, professional and paraprofessional services, and supportive family-based assistance for children ages three to 18 who live in Travis county.

The program is open to kids who are eligible for Medicaid (parental income is not counted in financial eligibility).

For more information about the program or to schedule an intake appointment, call 804-3191 or e-mail YES@atcic.org. You may also visit the Austin Travis County Integral Care website at IntegralCare.org to see whether your child qualifies for the program.
