Round Rock Needs School Mentors

News Notes-General

Would you like to help kids succeed in school? If so, the Round Rock School District would like to meet you.

The district needs mentors for STARS, a school-based program for kids in K-12th grades.

The program allows business and community volunteers to serve as role models for kids to build confidence and self-esteem and improve academic progress. Mentors also encourage older kids to think about college and career options.

After thorough screening and training, the district carefully matches mentors with students and provides them with a campus counselor or mentor coordinator.
