The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo rolls into town on Friday, March 11 and will be held through March 26. Once you have paid for parking and fairgrounds admission, there is plenty of free fun to be found in Kidstown, from the H-E-Buddy Petting Zoo to the Southwest Dairy Show. But why pay for admission and parking if you don't have to? Visit on a Save Your Bucks Day to get in for free! Friday, March 11 is the only day that offers free parking, so it is the only 100% free day to visit (as long as you bring your own food and drinks, and steer clear of the carnival).
