I Like Holidays!

While it may seem strange to review a “holiday” book after the holidays, this particular book is suited to New Year giving. That’s because it’s essentially a child’s scrapbook about holidays — all holidays — so it’s wise to present it when a year’s worth of holidays stretches before a child, equal and exciting. A very open-ended book, I Like Holidays! encourages children to write and draw about their favorite holiday. There are no leading questions, just fill-in-the-blank statements like “One of my favorite holidays is called ___” and “My favorite food for the holiday is____”.  My child instantly wanted to fill in the blanks and draw her own illustrations.  All in all, a great keepsake and a fun activity during any holiday of your choice.
