Regards to the Man in the Moon

A little boy is upset because the kids call his dad the Junk Man. His dad tells him that all the junk he has “can take you right out of this world” with a little imagination. So the next day, little Louie tries it and it works! The other kids join Louie’s adventure to outer space and start using their imaginations. The story here is simple and easy to follow, which is important for picture books, while the language itself is lovely. The pictures match the text and are beautifully done. Overall, a wonderful bedtime storybook for little ones, or independent readers 5-to-8.
