Developed by a father (who also happens to be an herbalist and acupuncturist) for his eczema-plagued baby, Emily Skin Soothers manufactures an array of skin care products. And we have to admit that we’ve loved every single one we’ve tried. The new Liquid Soap Soother is no exception. Made with a mixture of herbs, coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, aloe vera and rosemary extract, this soap is 100% organic and contains no parabens, no sodium laurel or laureth sulfate, no added color and no added fragrances. It also has been ranked in the top 4% of liquid soaps and body washes for safety by the Cosmetic Safety Database. What this means to you is that it can be used on babies, elderly people, those with skin conditions, and anyone else with very sensitive skin. Best of all, it lathers beautifully, has a very silky feel, and smells great! And no, it doesn’t leave a soapy film. Yeah, it’s more expensive than other liquid soaps, but if your kids have eczema, you won’t probably won’t mind paying the premium for something that won’t irritate their skin.
We’re required to tell you that all Cool or Crummy items are sent to us by companies and PR agents; we do not purchase these items independently, they just show up on our doorstep. All items are tested by our Product Review Team, otherwise known as the Tester Mamas, who have children in the age ranges recommend by the items in question. As you can see, we’re brutally honest in our reviews so it should go without saying that we do not accept payment for product placement (but we have to say it anyway because this is, after all, a required legal notice). If you have any questions, feel free to email us at Editor@ParentWiseAustin.com.
