Mookimoo Sleeper
We really wanted to like this sleeper, which was developed by two parents whose daughter did a midnight striptease in her crib. Because they were concerned that she’d suffocate on her discarded clothing, they created something she couldn’t take off. And if that’s what you’re looking for, this thing totally works. The downside is, it’s nearly impossible to get on. Because the zipper is on the back of the sleeper, your child has to lay on his or her tummy to put it on. Not so hard if you have a compliant kid. But in our experience, bedtime with the Mookimoo became something of a toddler wrestling match. In the end, we just hated this sleeper — it was a pain we weren’t willing to endure to keep our kid clothed for the night.
We’re required to tell you that all Cool or Crummy items are sent to us by companies and PR agents; we do not purchase these items independently, they just show up on our doorstep. All items are tested by our Product Review Team, otherwise known as the Tester Mamas, who have children in the age ranges recommend by the items in question. As you can see, we’re brutally honest in our reviews so it should go without saying that we do not accept payment for product placement (but we have to say it anyway because this is, after all, a required legal notice).
