St. Eve Childrens Sleepwear

Price:
$13-26

Generally speaking, most of us Tester Mamas prefer cotton pajamas for the kids: they tend to hold up better in the laundry, and they keep the kids sweat-free on sticky Summer nights. Having said that, these St. Eve pajamas are just so cute they’re hard to pass up. Made of 100% polyester (required of children’s sleepwear, except items designed to fit skin-tight), these adorable PJs feature sweet designs that remind us of when we were kids: no TV-endorsed characters here, just mischievous pirates, cheeky giraffes, and other age-appropriate designs. The toddler girls’ pajamas we tested came with ruffled pantaloons for warm evenings and long pants for air-conditioned nights; the boys’ PJs also came with plain shorts and pattered long pants. Both washed up well and, so far, haven’t pilled. As for the price: we’ve seen these PJs at Sears and JC Penney for half off the suggested retail — a great bargain and highly recommended. (They also are available at Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Kohl’s, and on QVC.com.)
