We’ll be the first to admit that spending $25 for infant foot decorations is ridiculous. Still, these things are darn cute. Toe Blossoms are exactly what the name implies: fabric-covered pieces of elastic with flowers that decorate baby’s foot. They’re available in two styles: one that loops over baby’s toe, and another that wraps around baby’s foot. No, they don’t have soles; they’re not shoes at all. So what’s the point, you ask? Well….they’re pretty. And if you have a Spring wedding to attend, these things would look adorable on your baby. (Although the company claims they work for babies up to a year old, we don’t think they’d be appropriate for early walkers because they don’t offer any protection for the soles of the feet.) Toe Blossoms would make a fun baby shower gift, because they aren’t something most (practical) moms would buy on their own, although they’d certainly use them if they had them. That’s why we didn’t put them in the Cool column: they’re cute, but given their limited functionality for the price, they’re just not something any of us would go out and buy for our own kids.
We’re required to tell you that all Cool or Crummy items are sent to us by companies and PR agents; we do not purchase these items independently, they just show up on our doorstep. All items are tested by our Product Review Team, otherwise known as the Tester Mamas, who have children in the age ranges recommend by the items in question. As you can see, we’re brutally honest in our reviews so it should go without saying that we do not accept payment for product placement (but we have to say it anyway because this is, after all, a required legal notice). If you have any questions, feel free to email us at Editor@ParentWiseAustin.com.
