Designed by a mom-and-dad dentist team, these damp tissues are similar to baby wipes. They are all natural, fluoride- and paraben-free, but do contain xylitol, which the product’s website says is a natural cavity-fighter. Tester Mama Katrina tried these on her eight-month-old daughter, also, and found they worked just as described. (She also tested them on herself—and her cat!— and discovered that they had no flavor whatsoever; however, she said they did make her mouth feel clean.) Although she found the wipes convenient, that convenience comes at a rather steep price: roughly $90 for a year’s worth of wipes. Yikes! Given that a washcloth does the same job for free, we just don’t see the point of this product. Great for camping, sure, but otherwise useless.
We’re required to tell you that all Cool or Crummy items are sent to us by companies and PR agents; we do not purchase these items independently, they just show up on our doorstep. All items are tested by our Product Review Team, otherwise known as the Tester Mamas, who have children in the age ranges recommend by the items in question. As you can see, we’re brutally honest in our reviews so it should go without saying that we do not accept payment for product placement (but we have to say it anyway because this is, after all, a required legal notice).
